Dr. Kim Smyth was happy to rejoin the crew here in September of 2023 after having previously practiced here years ago.

Dr. Smyth grew up in the South East, graduating from the University of South Carolina’s Honors College with a B.S. in Marine Science before attending the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine.

In addition to her work here, Dr. Smyth is one of a handful of people in the country who travel to Las Vegas monthly to assist in the administration of an intensive clinical proficiency exam for graduates of foreign veterinary schools.

Dr. Smyth lives in Charlottesville with her husband, Matt, her sons Wyatt and Cooper, her hound dog Dottie, and her two cats, Tony and Homer.
